Sports Initiative Agency (SIA)
Collaborative project creating an identity for a Ghana based Sports Agency start-up with the mission of making success in sports achievable for all, regardless of economic status.
The Brief
Create a simple logo to represent the agency and a mock promotional campaign, to create buzz ahead of the public launch. Focussing on reflecting brand words: Dynamic, Active, Modern.
Target Market: 15 - 25 year old Ghanaians and Athletes
Logo Development
With a focus on replicating the visual style of existing sports logos and emblems, a colleague designed and developed the following collection of logos.
Final Logo
We decided on the following as we thought it was the most representative of the sports agency. A modern take on the pre-established sports logo style, reflecting the agencies mission to enact change by creating equity in Sports.
Developing Visual Style
Some of my initial ideas for the promotional content, experimenting with dynamic images and colour, and creating impact and movement through type and composition. Also considering how the logo would work in different mediums.
Final Presentation
Our final presentation pitch to the client was a holistic view of how the logo and promotional content would work together as an identity for the agency, Reflecting the people they wanted to reach and providing example copy and ideas they could use for future campaigns.
