Flowertalk
Flower Therapy, Wellness and Aromatherapy brand based in the United States and Accra, Ghana. Aimed at predominantly Black American and African working professionals as a mental wellness and self-care service.
The Problem
As a small business, Flowertalk was struggling to reach their target audience in Ghana. With no consistent branding across their Social Media page and lacking a recognisable brand identity.
The Solution
As requested by the client, a new simple logo and brand elements to create a consistent and identifiable brand, that reflects the values and purpose of Flowertalk, to help establish and position the brand as a bookable service, and clarify its purpose to African consumers.
Existing Branding
Previous branding solely consists of an Instagram page, with little brand consistency and individual focus on founder, rather than services.

Branding Direction
After pitching three visual routes to Flowertalk founder Maggie, we decided on a direction for the theme and colour scheme to develop her Brand Identity.
Logo Development
Initial ideas for logo icons, focussing on deconstructing flower elements and simplifying them into more abstract geometric shapes with symmetrical negative space.

Flowertalk in Maggie's Words
"As a Holistic mental health therapist, my core belief is that mental health support should be available to everyone, regardless of race, background, sexual orientation, identity, or economic status. I am currently working with individuals, companies, agencies, and partners to pledge to make access to mental health services in Accra a priority. And make an additional pledge to acknowledge the mental health of the African community and other marginalised groups. I love my new brand and it has helped me to cement my position as a player in the mental health space, and communicates my values clearly"
